One other variation your Examination misses will be the absence of one's finger moving the BCG if the rifle is running.  If the best of your respective BCG meets the top of the decrease if the rifle is shut, the frame is just not going to move back and forth for the reason that there'll be no pressure plug going the body again towards the barrel.
